Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Adam Lowry scored twice and the Winnipeg Jets extended their point streak to seven games with a 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. Blake Wheeler and Michael Frolik each finished with a goal and an assist and Mathieu Perreault scored for the Jets, who are 5-0-2 since a 4-2 regulation loss to St. Louis on Nov. 23. Michael Hutchinson made 26 saves in the win. Tyler Seguin and Antoine Roussel both lit the lamp for Dallas, which has dropped five of its last six games. Kari Lehtonen allowed three goals on 17 shots before Jussi Rynnas turned aside 13-of-15 shots in relief. After Roussels backhander tied the game at 2-2 early in the second, the Jets responded with three straight goals to seize control of the game. Lowry netted both of his goals in a 2:19 span. The rookie forward chased Lehtonen with a wrist shot at 7:22 and greeted Rynnas by burying a backhander close to the midway point of the contest. On the penalty kill, Frolik pushed the puck past a defender in the neutral zone, raced into the Dallas zone on a breakaway and capped the sequence by lifting the puck over the Rynnas for a short-handed marker and a 5-2 game with 40 seconds to play in the second. Hutchinson stopped all six shots fired his way in the third to preserve the win. The Jets needed just 25 seconds of power-play time to score the games first goal. After Jordie Benn took a delay of game penalty, Perreault took a cross- ice feed from Bryan Little and sent a wrister past Lehtonen at 5:23 of the first period. Seguin finished off a tic-tac-toe passing play with a wrister over a diving Hutchinson from the left side of the net as the Stars tied the game with a power-play goal of their own just under four minutes later. Wheelers wrister from the top of the right circle with under six minutes to play in the opening stanza gave the Jets a 2-1 lead.
